I have always been fascinated by the magical and untouched fauna of the great plateaus of South America. The highest of these in the the Pakaraima chain is Mount Roraima. Its 31-square-kilometre (12-square-mile) summit area is a virgin forest of incalculable beauty and bounded on all sides by cliffs rising 400 metres (1,300 ft) protecting it from everything, including the passage of time. 

This piece is a reflection of these spaces that are locked in time and space.

This artwork has been created using traditional high quality Indian and Japanese inks The piece is signed and dated.
